Magnets And Angina

Angina pain is a crushing, squeezing pain in the chest. It usually starts in the area below the breastbone, radiating to the shoulder, arm or jaw. It may be accompanied by light-headedness and shortness of breath, and together these symptoms may understandably cause anxiety in the sufferer. It is caused by blockage of one or more arteries that lead into the heart. Plaque, a fatty substance that collects on the inside of the arteries, preventing the free flow of oxygen-rich blood, is the usual culprit. Angina can be mistaken for heart attack by people who have never experienced it before. In an angina attack, the flow of blood to the heart is not completely blocked, but it could be an early warning signalling a potential heart attack.
Preventive Measures:

  • With the help of your doctor, design a program of moderate physical activity to stay fit;
  • Monitor your intake of coffee. Studies show that drinking 5 cups or more of coffee a day can increase the risk of angina attacks;
  • Take a rest after a meal, to allow the heart to take it easy and not require extra blood flow, as blood usually gets diverted to the the digestive track to assist with digestion of your meal;
  • Quit smoking, or if you’re a non-smoker, stay well away from second-hand smoke;
  • Stay indoors when the weather is cold as cold weather may stimulate those reflexes of the heart muscles that can start an angina attack;
  • Avoid heavy or sudden physical exertion, such as heavy snow shovelling, running or lifting heavy objects.
  • MAGNETIC ENERGY TIP FOR ANGINA:
